RMG Fridays: Origins

January 06, 2017 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

For our first RMG Fridays of the year, we’re looking to the origins of the land by celebrating local Indigenous artists and performers including a Pow Wow presentation, a drum circle, and musical performances by Cale Crowe and Elsa Jayne.

We’ll also have curator talks from Linda Jansma (P11 In Person) and Anastasia Hare (What Arises in the Process, Gallery A).

The RMG is proud to acknowledge the lands and people of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. We are situated on the Traditional Territory of the Mississaugas, a branch of the greater Anishinaabeg Nation which includes Ojibway, Odawa and Pottawatomi.
