Public Programs
We animate our exhibitions and collections through artist talks, lectures, workshops, performances, and conversations to inspire our audiences and activate curiosity. Dedicated to deepening and enhancing the experience of art for people of all ages, our programs bring people together to learn, experiment, dismantle, reflect, discover, question, reimagine, and create.
For Artists
We are dedicated to supporting artists in their work and creating an environment for them to flourish. We provide opportunities for the community to imagine and create.
Studio
Our studio programs celebrate different voices, contribute to well-being and inspire imaginations in our warm and welcoming spaces. We offer a variety of workshops, classes, and camps for kids, youth, and adults throughout the year.
Schools
As we continue to expand our learning offerings, we encourage teachers and schools to select the programming that best fits their needs. We offer a variety of learning opportunities for students FDK to Grade 8 that include discussions, gallery interactives and hands-on art making. Our current programs include At-Gallery programs , At-School programs and other learning resources such as Activity Guides and the Learning Video Series.
Partnerships
We prioritize long-term and sustainable relationships with artists and community members. We bring together multiple perspectives and people and invite unique opportunities for collaborations. The RMG regularly collaborates with various partner organizations and community groups in the Durham Region.
