Let’s get back into art making in the studio!
We will be carefully monitoring the situation and following protocols and guidelines outlined by the Durham Region Health Department and the Province’s Chief Medical Officer. We will be making necessary adjustments and doing our utmost to ensure health and safety of participants and staff. We are prepared to pivot to back to our successful virtual classes should the need arises.
What to Expect From our Learning Programs
21st Century Learning practices are holistic throughout the RMG, where celebrating different voices, contributing to well-being, and co-creating are at the heart of what we do. Our programming is designed to activate new perspectives, ideas, and connections by being open, taking risks, and peaking curiosity. We are committed to exploring the interdisciplinary role of art, sharing stories and meaningful contemporary ideas within our artworks. The RMG community is an inclusive, warm, and friendly home of animated spaces that support creative learning in unexpected ways.

Guiding/Scouting
Are you looking to complete a badge or looking for something different to do with your group?
Part of the Learning Team’s goal is to provide opportunities for various community members to be inspired by the art on the walls through facilitated discussions followed by hands on art making in the studio.
Achieve an Art Studio/Artist badge with us! We’ll take on a short and lively interactive gallery tour to investigate historical and contemporary artworks followed by a fine art making workshop.
