OAC Exhibition Assistance

The RMG is a recommender for the Ontario Arts Council (OAC) Exhibition Assistance Program. This program provides grants of $500 to $2,000 that support Ontario-based artists and artist collectives with costs related to the presentation of their artwork in a confirmed public exhibition. Applications are assessed and recommended by participating organizations across Ontario. Artists must apply directly to a recommender in the zone in which they live. Applications are forwarded to the OAC by the recommender once the application has been approved for funding. The RMG accepts and assesses applications on an on-going basis until we have reached our funding limit for the year. The RMG prioritizes applicants exhibiting contemporary art across all media.

Eligibility:

Professional artists or arts collectives with a confirmed, upcoming public exhibition and who are based in the Durham Region and surrounding areas (defined by OAC as Zone 3) are eligible to submit a funding request for the RMG’s consideration. Curators, students enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate level studies, and incorporated not-for-profit or for-profit organizations are ineligible to apply.
