At-Gallery School Programming
Our popular RMG At-Gallery school programs are back in session! These programs are designed to encourage students to look at, discuss and respond to artworks in the Permanent Collection exhibition as well as current exhibitions. All programs include a fine art hands – on art making session in our large studio space.
At-School Programming
We are excited to extend our programs beyond the gallery walls and into classrooms! The Learning and Engagement Team will infuse relevant curriculum content with art from our permanent collection with special attention to artwork by members of the Painters Eleven. At-School programs are designed to support Gr. 1 to Gr. 8 students in their exploration of art in a 90-120 minute program that includes discussion and a hands on art making session.
Activity Guides
The activity guides are designed to supplement At-Gallery and At-School programming offerings, but can also be used independently as part of asynchronous learning opportunities. Each guide features information about the artists and their artworks, discussion prompts, a hands-on art activity and extended learning ideas/topics. We hope to add more activity guides throughout the year.
